LPT Realty Motivation Monday Memorial Day

Monday’s message included updates to the following topics:

  • Memorial Day Message – Robert and Matt Hodge began Motivational Monday with a powerful message of gratitude to those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Robert opened by sharing a heartfelt message from US Army Veteran and LPT Agent, Larry Fischer followed by a moment of silence. Larry’s words payed tribute to the fallen soldiers and recognized their sacrifices for freedom and the opportunities they provide for others:

“We extend our deepest honor and gratitude to all who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. On this Memorial Day, we bow our heads in solemn remembrance, honoring the brave souls who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we hold dear. Their sacrifice is a testament to the unwavering courage and devotion to duty.

As we pay tribute to their memory, let us hold in our hearts the families and loved ones they left behind carrying the weight of their loss. May their legacy inspire us to cherish the precious gift of freedom and to strive for a world of peace and unity. Today, as always, we stand together in honoring their sacrifice and ensuring that their memory lives on.” ~ Larry Fischer

  • Impact of Military Sacrifice on Business: Robert and Matt discussed how the sacrifices of our military personnel enable the freedom to build businesses like LPT Realty and achieve personal definitions of success.

  • Personal and Professional Recharge: Robert shares his philosophy on the importance of taking time to recharge, especially after periods of hard work, to ensure you can maintain energy and focus towards personal and business goals.

  • Resilience in Business: Insight into handling challenges and losses in entrepreneurship and the real estate industry, emphasizing the value of resilience and staying “mission-focused”.

  • Agent Centric Brokerage Model & Community: Robert highlights the supportive community at LPT Realty and the how the unique model we have offers agents the ability to define their own success by empowering agents with fair compensation and the resources they need.

  • Battle Tested or Battle Busted?: Robert brings up a post in our Official Facebook Group that was from a year ago. The post was about a new lead source the author was excited about, and recently the post was re-ignited when the author responded to a new comment saying they no longer use that lead source.

    • Robert compared this scenario to the “shiny object” syndrome that is so common in our industry. We are constantly bombarded with new technologies and solutions, but it is so important to know if the new shiny object is battle-tested before betting on it’s success. He compares this to LPT Realty and how we were viewed by our competitors at the beginning, being the new kid on the block, to how we are seen now – closing over $1Billion in sales in a month. We are BATTLE-TESTED!

  • Innovation & Future Plans: Robert mentions that transparency is a core value of his when it comes to letting agents know when a new feature or tech tool is being considered for our ecosystem. He believes in letting our agents know what will be making it’s way into our platform – much like he’s done with the announcement of Connect 2.0:

    • Robert shares that though he talks openly about what the Executive Team is working on, there is still a lot that goes on behind the scenes and we are NOT done innovating!

    • Acknowledgment of NAR Benefits: Health care presents challenges for organizations predominantly composed of independent contractors. Robert praises the National Association of Realtors (NAR) for delivering substantial value through its health benefits in a way we could not do at LPT – at least not yet. As one of the largest trade organizations, NAR offers exceptional health care services, including free tele-health and prescription drug cards. These benefits underscore the advantages of NAR membership, and Robert encourages all agents to explore these opportunities.

  • Flexibility to Go in the Direction of Success: With all the changes in our industry right now, along with the market constraints, we must remain nimble. Robert stresses the fact that we will continue to empower agents with the unfair advantage to go win at the real estate game against the agents at any other brokerage by having that opportunity to choose your comp plan, to choose your definition of success, and to win and build an. amazing community alongside the almost 11,000 other people inside LPT!

Before ending the meeting with another moment of silence for our fallen soldiers, Robert shared once more what his vision and commitment is for this company:

“We came to revolutionize an industry. We came to build a brokerage for life. And what we have today is the foundation for that brokerage for life, but there are so many more levels that we have to pile on top and so many more problems that we have to solve and so many other facets of this industry and neighboring industries that we have to bring real creative solutions to to empower you all to have that ability to achieve your definition of success in the broadest sense across our industry.” ~Robert Palmer
