Why LPT Realty Is Different: Shonna L. Ruble’s Full Post
An unfiltered perspective from FallCon 2025
Editor’s note: The post below is shared in Shonna L. Ruble’s own words.
I’ve been in real estate long enough to see a lot of brokerages make big promises.
Most talk about culture.
Most talk about innovation.
Most talk about collaboration.
But at LPT Realty, I experienced it for real.
What’s happening here feels historic.— Shonna L. Ruble
In just 3 years:
- ~ 180% growth in one year (with even more projected)
- ~ $700M+ revenue run rate
- Top 10 brokerage in the U.S. by transaction sides
- All 100% organic growth. No debt. No acquisitions.
Just pure momentum driven by agents winning.
And here’s what people don’t realize… When Compass, Real, and eXp were at our size, LPT is already ahead of where they were. Not just in growth… but in profitability, innovation, culture, and speed. Most companies hit this stage and slow down. LPT hit this stage and hit the gas.
FallCon 2025 Changed the Room
At FallCon 2025, I experienced something I’ve NEVER seen in this industry: No ego. No gatekeeping. No sizing each other up. In four days, not one person asked me:
- “How many units do you sell?”
- “What’s your volume?”
And let’s be honest, we all know when people ask those questions, they’re really just trying to measure if you’re “worth their time.”
Instead, I heard:
- “Hey, have you tried this?”
- “This strategy is working for us — want the template?”
- “We’re testing this in our business, let me show you.”
That kind of generosity is rare. Because I’ve been in a lot of rooms driven by ego and competition. Rooms where people protect their secrets, hide their wins, and smile while sizing you up. LPT is the opposite. It feels like everyone is pulling in the same direction — it honestly feels like a big family. Not just to win individually… but to help each other win, too.
Real Leadership: Robert Palmer
At the center of it all is Robert Palmer. He leads with vision, humility, and an unmatched drive to help agents win. He’s building tools, systems, and opportunities that create MASSIVE impact… without ego, without limits.
But on a personal note, this man has actually been in the trenches with us. He doesn’t just sit at the top and look down from a distance. He talks with us. He listens. He’s been an agent. He knows our struggles… and he’s beaten them.
He’s approachable. He has a personality. He shares his failures, not just his highlights. That’s what real leadership looks like.
I think most CEOs tend to overcompensate. Maybe they read somewhere that they have to be stern and stoic… never smiling, never laughing… to be taken seriously. They try to create this image of being untouchable, almost god-like, as if they’re above everyone else. But I promise you, that’s not Robert Palmer.
He comes across as a friend, like a big brother… someone you can be open and honest with. You can even disagree with him (though I wouldn’t recommend it… he’s a pretty sharp guy and might just checkmate you). Trust me, I may have learned that one from experience, lol. He’s real… and it’s a breath of fresh air to be led by someone who doesn’t try to intimidate, but instead inspires.
Training Built for Today
And the training? It’s not outdated theory. It’s built for how business is done TODAY.
I’m not sharing this to recruit you — I’m sharing it because knowledge is power. If you want an honest conversation, I’m happy to jump on a call and answer anything.
And if you’re an agent out there struggling… if the last 3 years have been brutal… if you’ve thought, “Maybe I should just give this up…” Please, before you quit, bet on yourself one more time.
